Villa Avvisania

Villa Avvisania is a lovely cottage, well appointed and furnished carefully providing high level of comfort.

It is situated in the small village of Vassilopoulata, a peaceful and low-key traditional village with stunning views across the valley of Pylaros and towards the sea and the harbour of Agia Efimia. Vassilopoulata is just 600 m (10 min walk) from the next bigger village Makriotika with a mini-market and a tavern with delicious Kefalonian food. A 10 min drive takes you to Agia Efimia (with more restaurants, shops, cafés, beaches) and to the spectacular Myrtos beach.

The living space of 75 sqm is arranged over one floor, thus suitable for little ones and elderly people. It comprises of 2 air-conditioned bedrooms, one with double bed and one with twins; a bathroom with shower, WC, hairdryer; a fully equipped kitchen, in a separated room; and a spacious, traditionally furnished living – dining room with a bed sofa (sleeping a 5. person if required), fireplace, desk for your laptop, Sat-TV, DVD, CD-player.

The cottage benefits from lovely views across the green valley of Pylaros, Agia Efimia and the Ionian Sea. It is surrounded by spacious terraces offering both sunny and shaded areas. The pool and the pool terrace (with relaxing sun beds and sun umbrella) are on the south-western side. This location offers plenty of sun during the whole day, privacy and a panoramic view of the sea, Agia Efimia and the surrounding mountains. On the eastern side there are 2 further terraces made of natural stone and furnished with comfortable garden furniture. There is plenty of space for children to play. A very old olive tree adds Mediterranean charm and provides shade and pleasant coolness even in the hottest summer months. A charcoal grill is ideal for preparing the meal outside on a warm summer day.
